Donna, after 26 years at Redstone, is waiting for the “GOLDEN WATCH”. As part of the Redstone family, Donna’s primary focus has been in finance. You’ll often find her taking part in event planning and fund raising. Days off are spent working out, skiing, hiking and long walks just about everywhere in Vermont. She especially enjoys her many hiking trips to other countries. In the evenings you’ll find her sipping on a glass of wine at home with her family and friends.
Paula, who is a South Burlington, Vermont native, has 40 years of work experience in a wide variety of business operations. Her strong work ethic and common-sense approach allowed her to flourish and participate in all facets of business operations and management. Initially Paula specialized in process engineering, quality control, product estimation and cost accounting and later graduated into general business operations and management. Paula enjoys event planning, group activities, an evening stroll on the Colchester bike path with her Chihuahua Minnie, and more importantly spoiling her husband, children and grand babies.
Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Joe and his wife, a Vermont native, moved to the Green Mountain State in 2016. Prior to joining Redstone, Joe plied his trade in cities such as Philadelphia, San Diego, and New York City. Throughout his career he has cultivated experience in deal underwriting and financial analysis, market research, business development, investor relations, and asset and project management. Outside of work, Joe spends most of his time hanging with his bulldog Gimli, playing with his daughter Evie, and asking his wife Hannah where he left his phone. On select weekends he can be found lamenting the fortunes of the New York Giants and Arsenal Football Club (Go Gunners!) or promising himself that he’ll finally learn how to play guitar…starting tomorrow.
Bill was raised on a dairy farm and worked for many years. Then worked in construction building sites as a site Forman and maintaining equipment to keep thing on schedule. Then started working for Redstone in 2007 with all aspect of maintenance for the buildings to keep them running smoothly. In his free time likes to walk in the woods and tend to his flower beds as well as working with wood, metal in various projects big or small alike. He is an experienced dive master in scuba diving, and pilot, with an ultra light aircraft.
Andrew is a Vermont native and recent graduate of Champlain College. Growing up in southern Vermont and around the real estate industry; Andrew received a degree in Accounting but has interest in development and construction. Andrew puts his attention to detail, problem solving, and organization skills to work each day as a property manager. When Andrew is not in the office or on showings he is spending his time outdoors, exploring new places or on the ice playing hockey.
Larry has been building things his entire life. In 1992, he turned that passion into a business when he and a partner launched Redstone Commercial Group. Recently, Redstone evolved into an even more dynamic enterprise when Larry became CEO and Erik Hoekstra came on board as a managing partner.
Redstone’s mission has always been to “push the potential of place.” You can see this in the wide variety of projects Larry and his team have undertaken around Vermont. There was the development of an award winning hotel in downtown Burlington, the creation of an innovative building capable of housing 403 University of Vermont students, the renovation of a historic Shelburne inn, rehabilitation of historic mill buildings in Winooski and Burlington, and many other memorable projects around Chittenden County.
At Redstone, pushing the potential of place is not just about building new stuff. It’s also about community. Redstone has a long history of supporting non-profit organizations with both time and resources. Larry is a longtime supporter of the United Way, a founding member of the board of directors of Mobius, the Mentoring Movement and currently serves on the University of Vermont Medical Center Foundation Board and the UVM College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences Advisory Council.
More recently he has become involved as an investor and adviser to several local beverage and restaurant start-ups including Four Quarters Brewing in Winooski.
In his spare time, Larry loves to hunt, fish, and ski Alta powder. He lives in Colchester, Vermont with his wife Leslie and dog Lizzy. He has four children doing interesting things across the United States and Mexico, and he visits them as often as possible.
Kellen is a Vermont native who joined Redstone after 10+ years working in finance and operations for hospitality companies across New England. Kellen and his family live in the new north end of Burlington where he enjoys spending time with his wife, two mutts, and new baby girl. When not working or changing diapers, he enjoys home renovation projects, gardening, and cooking.
Erik is originally from the greater Chicagoland area and has lived in Burlington most of the time since 2002. He has spent his career in the real estate field with experience as a developer, property manager, broker, and chief toilet fixer. Erik has been involved in both non-profit and for-profit organizations. In his spare time, you can usually find Erik somewhere Burlington where he lives with his family. At least 2 nights per week, he can be spotted belly up to the bar with his son at his wife’s restaurant, Butch + Babe’s. Outside of Burlington, Erik and his family love to travel to a blend of hyper urban and intensely rural locations.
Beth brings close to 20 years of experience working with and supporting college students to her position at Redstone. She’s held various roles on college campuses in enrollment management and student affairs, but got her professional start in the film/tv industry where her work on MTVs first animated hip-hop series cemented her love of 90s rap music. A proud native Hoosier who roots for the Irish and thinks March Madness is the most wonderful time of the year, after 20+ years in NYC Beth relocated to Burlington in 2016 with her husband and their Weimaraner Nico.
Glenn has worked more than 20 years in finance and operations across the banking, insurance and real estate industries. He is a licensed CPA. His work experience includes oversight of accounting and finance functions, strategic planning, raising capital, investor relations, risk management, back-office operations and human resources in the private and non-profit sectors. A recovering New Yorker, Glenn and his family have called Vermont home since 2006. While a bean counter during the week, weekends for Glenn can mean skiing or watching a baseball game. A good IPA and vacations to Europe are fun too.
A recent transplant, Kelly came to Vermont to escape the harsh Wyoming winters and to continue her pursuit of all things maple. She brings over 25 years of experience in development and marketing to her role as Director of Leasing, Marketing, and Asset Management. Her hands-on approach ensures all aspects of the portfolio stay fluid. A former collegiate tennis player, Kelly still enjoys being on the court, in the mountains, or on the lake but can most often be found with her dog cheering for her two teenagers on the soccer sideline.
Preston, who is a native Vermonter, has over 8 years of experience in the maintenance field. Prior to working for Redstone, Preston worked for another property management company as well as working as a civilian at the Vermont Air National Guard in the civil engineering wing during one of their large deployments. During his time at Redstone, Preston has learned many new tricks of the trade and has excelled in the arts of the septic flush. Preston lives in Williston with his wife Hilary, cat Oreo and puppy Skye who they rescued from Alabama through Vermont Dog Rescue. Outside of work, Preston enjoys being outdoors whether it’s hiking with his wife and puppy, doing work in the yard or snowboarding during the long winter months.
Thom joined the Redstone team as Controller in 2016 and brings extensive financial and operational experience to the company. Thom comes to work every day with the goal of pushing the potential of place. Away from the office Thom runs 26.2 miles for fun; he also likes music, good food/drink, and enjoying Vermont’s four seasons with his loving wife, daughter, and two dogs.
Tucker joined the Redstone team in June 2018 as Special Projects Manager. With a background in commercial real estate and a desire to have a positive impact on the community, Tucker works hard to ensure that Redstone’s properties operate like a well-oiled machine. Bringing a blend of organizational and interpersonal skills to every project, he enjoys managing complex projects and finding the right solutions. A native Coloradoan and constant seeker of new adventures, Tucker can be found on the weekends exploring the woods, mountains, and rivers in Vermont and beyond with his rescue dog, Hank, and lovely fiancé, Sarah.
Dennis is a Burlington native who has always worked in the construction trade. In his free time he enjoys playing softball, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family; he and his loving fiance are currently raising a new Giants fan
Sophie is a Vermont native who has held a variety of roles in many different places, preparing her well for the multifaceted role of Operations Manager. Her liberal arts background has led to a winding career path from guiding outdoor camps in Hawaii to teaching at a nonprofit independent school to working with Redstone. She even found time to travel on a three month road trip to visit about 30 of U.S.A’s National Parks sites. Whether it is work or leisure time, Sophie’s experiences have shaped her into a responsible, resourceful, and organized hard worker.
Myles is from Central Vermont and currently studying Finance at UVM. Myles has been exposed to Real Estate since he was very young, from his mother who was a mortgage loan officer and helping his father as an appraiser. He helped his father with inspections, client relations, and administrative tasks throughout his teenage years. Most recently, he has taken an interest in the social implications of Real Estate on the community. He has an entrepreneurial spirit and is fascinated by the development and acquisitions side of the business. In his free time, Myles enjoys lifting weights, mogul skiing, and mountain biking.
