Larry has been building things his entire life. In 1992, he turned that passion into a business when he and a partner launched Redstone Commercial Group. Recently, Redstone evolved into an even more dynamic enterprise when Larry became CEO and Erik Hoekstra came on board as a managing partner.
Redstone’s mission has always been to “push the potential of place.” You can see this in the wide variety of projects Larry and his team have undertaken around Vermont. At Redstone, pushing the potential of place is not just about building new stuff. It’s also about community. Redstone has a long history of supporting non-profit organizations with both time and resources. Larry is a longtime supporter of the United Way, a founding member of the board of directors of MENTOR Vermont and currently serves on the University of Vermont Medical Center Foundation Board and the UVM College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences Advisory Council.
